The Nurse Practitioner will work under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer and Health Center Manager. The Nurse Practitioner will also collaborate with the Practice Manager, providing comprehensive medical services to patients of the Perris, North County Health Services.

Qualifications:

  • Possess the legal requirements to practice as a Registered Nurse and a certified Nurse Practitioner in California.
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred.
  • Possess furnishing license or must obtain within one year of employment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred or as required by health center site.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.

LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse, Women’s Health Services

LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse, Women’s Health Services

The LVN under the direction of the Supervisory RN/Health Center Manager, and in collaboration with the Nursing Services Director, will serve as the LVN in accordance with quality philosophy and team orientation, with patient needs as the prime concern. Participate in preventative health education activities in the community as requested. Follow medical protocols and administrative procedures. Prepare patients, start IV therapy and administer lab procedures as directed. Maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing Program.
  • Current California State LVN/LPN licensure, CPR/BLS certificate required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Certified Nurse Midwife

CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIFE

The Certified Nurse Midwife will work under the direction of the Clinical Director of Midwifery. The Certified Nurse Midwife will be responsible for managing the care of, and giving direct client services to families in all areas of maternity, newborn, and family planning, according to the policies and procedures of North County Health Services, consulting with physicians as needed. 

Qualifications:

  • Current California licensure as a Nurse Midwife.
  • 2+ years experience in full scope nurse midwifery practice preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited nurse midwifery program or equivalent.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
